Perry Shimanoff is the founder of Management and Communication Consultants (MC²). Prior to starting MC2, Mr. Shimanoff worked as a senior consultant for a productivity management firm, systems engineer for a national data processing company, supervisor for methods improvements in one of the largest health insurance firms in the country and served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps.

 In 1982, MC² opened an office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bruce B. Robertson manages the OKC office, where all custom MC² computer software is designed, tested, manufactured, and distributed. MC² develops, sells, and supports computer software programs for maintenance work orders, custodial operations, the California Deferred Maintenance program, facility use, and injury and illness prevention program and safety systems. 

Since 1991, Perry has served as CASBO’s official custodial trainer – as of August 2025, 23,800 custodians have attended cleaning seminars facilitated by our firm. MC² provides custodial advisory services, ranging from staffing analysis, routing and work loading, validating cleaning standards, etc. to team cleaning implementation programs. Further, MC² has published 40 articles in national trade journals. 

He served on the Board of Directors as the Vice President and Treasurer of the International Custodial Advisory Network (ICAN). Recently, Mr. Shimanoff received his “master’s certification training” from the Cleaning Management Institute and is one of 5 ISSA certified "master" trainers in the United States!  Perry also serves on the IICRC  S400 Standards Committee as the Chair of the Committee which published the first ANSI approved cleaning standard in January of 2025.
